This place is so delicious! I forgot to take pictures of my food, but definitely will when I go back! I ordered the combination seafood plate that fish, scallops and hush puppies, with a side of raw onions, which I thought initially was weird, but it definitely complimented the fruit we were eating. The ambience is very retro 70s. Space is clean and the staff is friendly.

The catfish is excellent! If you don't want the bones, get the fillets; but to me, the "whole catfish" is best. (Don't forget to eat the crispy tail & fins....very delicious!) This last time I ordered carry-out, still the service was good. Where the diners sit is one big room... it's clean, not much ambiance though. Some fish (taxidermy?) on the wall. You go to restaurants to EAT, NOT to look at ambience. Been here many times, even when I was little, and visited family on vacation (yes, it's been around, awhile); waitresses have always been friendly and attentive, as far as I can remember. I had an aunt, who was very particular about food - persnickety? - she loved this place!

Long wait to sit down and get food after it was ordered. But the waitress was awesome. She brought drinks and starters right after order was placed. The food was awesome as I remembered. We got fried pickles, broiled trout and fried catfish. They were all delicious. I especially liked the baked potatoes. I usually get raw oysters from here but I'm glad I tried something different this time.
